ARLENE SHECHET BUDDHA SERIES Studio Installations These sculptures are made from modeling plaster (hydrocal) without a predetermined armature. The plaster literally measures time as it quickly transforms from liquid to solid. Complete concentration and attention in the moment are required to finish the work before the plaster hardens.
